For many years, I have been practicing the design concept of minimalism. I know that minimalism is not a simple simplification, but a reshaping of things after a deep understanding. It is a design philosophy that abandons complexity through simplification and highlights the essence, and it is also an attitude of self-pursuit.

An excellent design should allow space and nature to coexist harmoniously and achieve a state of balance. Doors and windows are not only the medium between our living room and the outside world, but also the core elements of our thinking and design. They allow us to observe the outside world from indoors and extend our vision from indoors to outdoors. In this process, doors and windows not only provide us with convenience, but also bring us a new perspective and source of inspiration.

I think minimalism reveals the deep desire of contemporary people for a simple and peaceful life, allowing us to devote more energy to what we really need. However, this state of freedom also requires us to pay more attention to human emotions and needs, and create an environment that is more comfortable and cares about human inner emotions.

Feng Baowei

Oday’s doors and windows have been focusing on the research and development of extremely narrow doors and windows since 2009. Although the market was not optimistic about Narrow Door Frames at that time, I had a special liking for simple and practical designs. I firmly believe that as long as we find the right people and partners, we can do professional things well.

My design concept comes from my personality. I advocate simplicity and firmly believe that professional things should be left to professionals. I only focus on my own professional field - the design and manufacture of doors and windows. As a practitioner in the industrial equipment industry, I know that the air tightness, water tightness and wind pressure resistance of doors and windows are crucial. These are national standards and there is no room for bargaining. If these standards are not met, the product cannot pass the acceptance, let alone receive the payment. Therefore, we always regard solving these problems as the most basic requirement.

At the same time, when designing doors and windows, I will consider many factors, including climate conditions, usage habits and conditions at the installation site. Although the minimalist style door and window design in Northern Europe is very popular, their climate conditions are very different from those in China. Therefore, we need to design and optimize products according to China's local climate conditions, usage habits and installation conditions. I believe that with the support of all designer partners, Oday's doors and windows can not only occupy a place in the domestic market, but also set sail to show China's innovative strength to the world.
