"Hardcore certification!" The ultra-narrow doors and Windows of Oday have easily passed the Australian standard inspection!

2025-11-12

In the door and window industry, "meeting standards" is the bottom line, while "surpassing" is the proof of strength! Recently, three core products of Oday's ultra-narrow doors and Windows - the OD.L160 Extreme series narrow-edge sliding door, the OD.L160Y Hidden series narrow-edge sliding door, and the OD.DP110 Han series narrow-edge outward-Opening Window - have all undergone strict Australian standard testing (in accordance with the AS2047-2014 standard). The AS/NZS 4420.1-2016 test process was adopted, and all were successfully passed with excellent results!

This inspection covers five core dimensions: structural deflection, operating force, air tightness, water tightness and ultimate strength. Each of these dimensions is a strict test of the performance of doors and Windows. Not only did all three products Pass, but their key parameters were also outstanding:

OD.L160 Extreme Series narrow-edge sliding doors: Even with Narrow Edges, they still have strong performance

Narrow bezel design often implies structural challenges, but the OD.L160 breaks the bias that "narrow bezel = weak performance" with data:

  • Structural deflection: The pressure test of ± 1800Pa was passed. The measured maximum net deflection was 6.85mm, and the narrow-edge frame remained durable.
  • Water tightness: No leakage under 400Pa pressure, and can handle moderate to heavy rain with ease.
  • Ultimate strength: Intact under ± 3200Pa pressure, with maximum resistance to deformation during daily use;
  • Operating force: Opening force 138.7N, closing force 105.9N, minimum holding force 65.4N. The sliding is smooth without any jamming, and even large-sized door panels can be easily controlled.

OD.L160Y Hidden Series narrow-edge sliding doors: Invisible design + Hardcore performance

The hidden-frame design pursues ultimate beauty, but the OD.L160Y, beyond its aesthetic appeal, has pushed performance to the extreme

  • Structural deflection: Passed the pressure test of ± 1600Pa. The measured maximum net deflection meets the requirements of the invisible frame and is stable without shaking.
  • Water tightness: No leakage under 150Pa pressure, meeting the daily rain waterproofing requirements. The invisible sealing process stands the test of time.
  • Ultimate strength: No damage under pressure of ± 3400Pa. The structural strength of the invisible frame far exceeds expectations.
  • Operating force: Opening force 121.7N, closing force 114.2N, holding force up to 99.9N. With the support of the invisible design, the convenience of operation remains top-notch.

OD.DP110 Outward-opening window: Outward-opening performance ceiling

As a leading player among outward-opening Windows, the OD.DP110 demonstrates outstanding capabilities in wind pressure resistance and water tightness

  • Structural deflection: It passes stably under a pressure of ± 2000Pa. The measured maximum net deflection is only 1.88mm (far below the allowable value), and the frame can remain stable even in strong winds.
  • Water tightness: 450Pa high-pressure spray for 15 minutes, no leakage at all! It should be noted that ordinary outward-opening Windows may experience water seepage under a pressure of 200Pa, but the OD.DP110 can easily handle heavy rain.
  • Ultimate strength: No deformation or damage under a pressure of ± 4000Pa, equivalent to being able to withstand the wind pressure impact of a typhoon of level 12.
  • Operating force: The opening force is 75.2N, the closing force is 54.5N, and the minimum holding force is only 35.1N. Both the elderly and children can easily switch it on and off, balancing performance and convenience.

The passing of the Australian standard test is not the end but the starting point of Oday's pursuit of "high-quality doors and Windows". Whether it's withstanding strong winds, protecting against heavy rain, or conserving energy and keeping warm, our three products have all proven with their strength that good doors and Windows should not only look good but also be durable and reliable!
