ODAY Project Case | Doors and Windows of Mr. Lai Xudong, the Transformation Dream Achiever's Private Residence

"Home Renovation Dreamers" expert Lai Xudong's 500㎡ four-story residence in Chongqing

A low-key yet elegant eclectic aesthetic

Wooden texture + earthy color scheme, fully enhancing the relaxed atmosphere of the mountain city

The most captivating design element of this entire private residence must be the standard floor-to-ceiling ODAY narrow windows and doors throughout the entire house.

Extremely narrow frame, unparalleled view

The frame is almost invisible, allowing the green trees, moss, and light and shadow in the courtyard to be "captured" into a painting. Sitting at home, the scenery of all four seasons flows before your eyes, truly "placing the home in the landscape".

Excellent lighting, with a built-in filter

The minimalist design allows the natural light to pour unreservedly into the room, seamlessly blending with the wooden furniture and the rough-textured walls in the home. Whether it's during the day or in the evening, a casual snap always results in a high-end masterpiece!

Blurring the indoor and outdoor boundaries

Teacher Lai's design philosophy has always been "space serves people". This door and window perfectly blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Basking in the breeze from the yard and observing the changes in light and shadow inside the house - this sense of relaxation is exactly what a luxurious residence should have!

If you also like this minimalist, natural and breathing-like home style, you can definitely refer to Teacher Lai's design for your decoration! Choosing the right doors and windows will truly double the appearance and style of your home!
