ODAY Project Case | Creating a Panoramic and Transparent Tea Room in a Dongguan Villa

Who says a luxurious house must have thick walls?

Who says a Chinese-style tea room can only have thick wooden doors?

In this villa project in Dongguan, we completely broke the boundaries of space and carried out an extreme "subtraction" with extremely narrow panoramic sliding doors - transforming the tea room into a "glass box with four transparent sides". You will find that you are no longer "watching the scenery from within the house", but "living in harmony with the scenery". And the essence of this transparency is precisely this series of narrow-edge panoramic sliding doors.

【Design Highlights】

✅ Panoramic Mode without Columns

There is no obstruction around the space, allowing sunlight and scenery to surround you in a 360-degree manner. Even in a small apartment, you can enjoy the transparency of a large apartment!

✅ 24.6mm Ultra-Narrow Viewing Surface

Four-sided glass without columns + the Extreme Series narrow-ribbed sliding doors, minimizing the presence of the frame, with a viewing surface of only 24.6mm!

✅ Customized 8-meter Giant Screen Vision

With a width of 8000mm and a height of 2600mm, an ultra-large specification size, breaking the cramped feeling of traditional doors and windows. The large-span floor-to-ceiling design, without any partition, provides panoramic views that blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, and seamlessly integrate the scenery into the home.

✅ Minimalist Aesthetics + Hardcore Performance

Fine lines are suitable for the minimalist / new Chinese style of villas. Combined with high-quality sealing technology, it offers efficient sound insulation and heat insulation, blocking outside noise. The opening and closing is smooth and effortless, balancing both the appearance aesthetics and practical performance.

【Why choose the ultra-narrow door?】

▪ Reduces the sense of boundaries: The minimalist lines allow for a natural transition between indoors and outdoors, transforming a small space into a transparent light box in an instant.

▪ Doubles the lighting: By reducing the obstruction of profiles, sunlight can freely flow into every corner.

▪ Stunning appearance: The fluorocarbon gray frame, combined with LOW-E ultra-clear glass, exudes an extremely high level of sophistication.

▪ Safe and stable: The self-developed hardware of Oe combined with automotive-grade tempered glass, showcasing both an outstanding appearance and strong functionality.
